PIONEER TOTAL ABSTINENCE ASSOCIATION The PTAA mission is to address the problems in society caused by excess alcohol consumption and drug usage. We do this through: faith and prayer, self denial, example, activities based on presenting alternatives to individuals, particularly the young, advocacy. ST JOSEPH’S YOUNG PRIESTS SOCIETY St. Joseph's Young Priests' Society is a Catholic lay organisation which exists to help student clerics on their journey to priesthood. The Society fosters vocations to the priesthood and religous life. It assists students for the priesthood both financially and by prayer. It promotes the vocation of the laity and fosters a greater understanding and love of the Mass. Chaplet of Divine Mercy: In His revelations to St. Faustina, Jesus asked for a special prayer and mediation on His Passion (Diary 1320). Each Friday at three o’clock the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed in the Parish Church in Mitchelstown. Please come and join us in praying for our communities, our country, the whole world and your own special intentions. All are welcome. |
